The National Saddle Centre offers an extremely knowledgeable and personal service. Each member of the team is a highly qualified, equestrian specialist with hands on competition experience.
Jo Beavis
Jo has trained as a qualified saddler and saddle fitter
since 1984 and is a Member of the Society of Master
Saddlers. She spent eight years with Albion Saddle
makers providing product and technical training to
stockists, saddlers and saddle fitters before helping
to found The National Saddle Centre. Jo has a lifelong interest in all things equine and
has trained and ridden her own horses for competition. Jo is based in the Midlands and
covers the South of England and the West Midlands.
Cicely Thorne
Cicely’s attention to detail and thoroughness required in her
professional background has allowed her to work closely with
alternative practitioners ensuring a caring approach to saddle
selection and fitting. She has trained and competed event
horses to 4 star level. Cicely is a qualified Human and Equine
Bowen Therapist and qualified saddle fitter. Cicely is based in
the Borders and covers the North of England.
Craig Millard
Craig
has been with The National Saddle Centre for a year and has a wealth
of experience in the equestrian retail trade specialising in Customer
Service. He has produced horses to national level, worked for leading
international riders and specialises in the production of dressage horses.
His highly developed communication skills, experience as a lecturer
in equine science and understanding of equitation help him to fully
understand, analyse and meet both horse and rider requirements. Craig
is based in Northamptonshire and covers the East of England.
Craig,
riding on Cendy, a four year old Danish Warmblood Stallion, successfully
passed his Stallion Grading with the Sports Horse Breeding of Great
Britain and qualified for the Shearwater Four year old Young Dressage
horse Championships and the Badminton Young Dressage Horse of the Future
finals!
